USA: Former Obama Staffer Accused of Stealing from Colleagues

Adam Fetcher, former Minneapolis communications chief, was fired on July 1 after being accused of stealing cash and bank cards from city employees. He allegedly used a stolen card to purchase $481 worth of kratom. The case has been forwarded to the Hennepin County Attorney's Office for possible criminal charges.

Benue: One killed as suspected herdsmen attack another Otukpo community

One person was killed when suspected armed herdsmen attacked Ondo community in Ugboju District of Otukpo Local Government Area, Benue State. The attack came less than 48 hours after the deadly invasion of Otukpo-Nobi where over 18 people were killed. Local government chairman Maxwell Ogiri said security forces repelled the attackers after one resident lost his life. Police have yet to provide full details.
