Kibali Gold distributes 62,000 coffee seedlings to revive agriculture in Faradje and Watsa (Haut-Uele)

On September 22, 2026, Kibali Gold Mines distributed 62,000 coffee seedlings in the territories of Faradje and Watsa in Haut-Uele province. The initiative aims to revive the local coffee sector, increase household incomes, and diversify the regional economy. The company plans to cultivate these seedlings over more than 60 hectares, with an estimated harvest of around 300 tons of coffee. It has also undertaken other social projects such as building schools, health facilities, and drilling wells.
