A13: 74 firefighters mobilized after the death of a pregnant woman and her son in a tunnel in Mantes-la-Ville

A car fire in a tunnel on the A13 in Mantes-la-Ville resulted in the deaths of a nine-month pregnant woman and her two-year-old son. A 44-year-old man was also severely burned and hospitalized. The rescue operation, involving 74 firefighters and 15 vehicles, faced access difficulties due to the confined space. An investigation has been opened to determine the causes of the fire.
