World Boxing allows Russian, Belarusian boxers to compete as neutrals

Boxers from Russia and Belarus are now allowed to compete in international competitions as neutral athletes, according to a decision by World Boxing. This measure, effective immediately, was approved at an executive board meeting in April 2026 and aligns with the policy of the International Olympic Committee. Athletes will compete without national flags or anthems and will be subject to a vetting process.
