Democracy Day: Ooni urges FG to intensify fight against insecurity

On Democracy Day, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, called on the federal government to intensify efforts to tackle insecurity, banditry, and kidnapping. In a statement issued Friday in Ile-Ife, he emphasized that security is fundamental to national growth and called for better equipping of security agencies and prosecution of criminals. He urged Nigerians to remain patient and support government efforts.
