NDLEA busts Abuja drug hubs, arrests 132 suspects, seizes 220kg illicit substances

Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) dismantled several drug joints in Abuja, arresting 132 suspects and recovering over 220 kilograms of illicit substances during a coordinated operation from April 11 to 25, 2026. The raids targeted major hotspots such as Torabora Hills and Gwarinpa, following weeks of intelligence gathering. Substances seized included 214.79 kg of skunk, 5.524 kg of Diazepam, and 93.52 g of cocaine. The agency's director praised the professionalism of the operatives and called for intensified efforts against drug trafficking.
