EBOLA: WFP distributes food to families of patients and supports response teams in Beni

On June 10, 2026, the World Food Programme (WFP) distributed food rations to over 30 families of Ebola patients or those in quarantine at Beni General Referral Hospital in North Kivu. The rations include maize flour, rice, beans, vegetable oil and salt, covering one month's needs. The agency also provides hot meals to hospitalized patients and healthcare workers. WFP also provides logistical support, including transport of medical equipment and health teams to affected areas.
