2026 Presidential Election in Benin: Wadagni–Talata Leads with 94.05% of Votes – La Nouvelle Tribune

The National Autonomous Electoral Commission announced the provisional results of the presidential election held on April 12, 2026, stating that the Wadagni–Talata duo received 4,252,347 votes, or 94.05% of the votes. The voter turnout was 58.75%, with 4,640,354 voters participating. Despite some isolated incidents, the election was generally well-managed, and the results have been sent to the Constitutional Court for validation.
