Zulum assures safe return of 48 abducted schoolchildren in Borno

Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum assured residents of Mussa community that efforts are ongoing to secure the release of 48 abducted schoolchildren. During a sympathy visit to Uba, he expressed condolences to the families of the victims and announced the deployment of security forces to strengthen safety in the area. The Emir of Uba stated that the abduction occurred on May 15, involving 37 primary school pupils, six secondary school students, and five other residents.
