Weed overtakes Delta primary school, as pupils drink water from rust pipe - Daily Post Nigeria

The sanitation facilities at Iginuwa Primary School in Ode-Itsekiri Community, Warri South, Delta State, are overgrown with weeds. Only four teachers are currently working there, and pupils are forced to drink water from a rusty pipe connected to a borehole near the palace of the Olu of Warri, HRM Ogiame Atuwatse III. The teacher Mrs Weyinmi Areyenka explained that the shortage of teachers is partly due to some refusing to work in the community because of travel dangers, including past accidents at sea. She appealed to Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to send more willing teachers to the area.
