'Stop faulting outcome, elections are imperfect' – Fashola tells opposition

Babatunde Fashola, former Lagos State governor and ex-Minister of Works, Housing and Power, stated that elections are inherently imperfect due to logistical challenges. Speaking at The Platform in Lagos on Democracy Day, he urged Nigerians to accept outcomes and focus on strengthening democratic institutions. He noted that established democracies accept imperfections and work to improve systems, and criticized the unwillingness of some political actors to accept results.
