RDC-Ebola: « 30 cents per French person are essential to protect Congolese and French » (Jean-Noël Barrot)

French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot visited Bunia in the Democratic Republic of Congo, a key area affected by the 17th Ebola outbreak. He emphasized that the French humanitarian aid, amounting to 30 cents per French citizen, is vital for fighting Ebola and protecting both Congolese and French populations, as viruses do not respect borders. He also visited a center for victims of sexual violence linked to conflict, operated by SOFEPADI, and signed a protocol with the Congolese Ministry of Justice to strengthen cooperation on justice for victims.
