TikToker Denise Dusauchoy placed under provisional arrest in DRC

Congolese TikToker Denise Dusauchoy has been placed under provisional arrest after being presented to the public prosecutor on September 2, 2026. She is suspected of promoting the subversive activities of the AFC/M23 rebel coalition on social media. Her arrest occurred in Tanzania on August 30, 2026, following an arrest warrant issued by Congolese justice, and was confirmed by the DRC Ministry of Justice.
