PFIPC Scandal: Alleged 'fake' DG Adeyemi begs for bail, access to lawyers, doctor

The Federal High Court in Abuja directed the Inspector-General of Police and the Attorney-General of the Federation to allow Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi, the self-styled Director-General of the alleged 'non-existent' Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council, access to his lawyers. However, the court declined to grant his release on bail pending the conclusion of investigations. Adeyemi, who has been in detention since July, sought six reliefs, including access to medical practitioners of his choice.
