2027: ‘APC has declared war’ — Nigerians react to attack on Atiku’s convoy in Kebbi

Men armed with sticks and other weapons attacked the African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential campaign convoy in Kebbi State on Thursday. Security personnel fired tear gas to disperse the attackers, while ADC supporters chased them away. The incident came less than 24 hours after Peter Obi’s convoy was attacked in Calabar; Cross River State police confirmed that a suspect had been arrested. Influencer Shehu Gazali Sadiq accused the ruling APC of declaring war on democracy, while other users said the attack could boost the ADC ahead of the 2027 elections.
