2027: Don’t disrupt opposition campaigns, Otti warns supporters

Abia State Governor Alex Otti warned Labour Party supporters not to disrupt rival parties’ campaigns ahead of Nigeria’s 2027 general elections. He said security agencies had been instructed to arrest anyone obstructing legitimate political activities, including Labour Party members. Otti also urged opponents to focus their campaigns on development priorities and consult state performance data rather than rely on personal attacks or issues he said had been addressed.

The Congolese president said Rwanda uses the FDLR issue to justify its presence on Congolese territory.
