2027 Is Not a War: Fintiri Urges Youths to Shun Thuggery

Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Fintiri said the 2027 election must not become a war and urged youths not to serve as thugs for politicians. Speaking at the 20th anniversary of the Government House Chapel in Yola, he called on Christian youths to vote peacefully and reflect their faith before, during and after the election. Former Chief of Defence Staff Theophilus Danjuma, represented by retired Major General Ishaya Bamaiyi, urged Adamawa residents to vote for President Bola Tinubu rather than Atiku Abubakar in 2027, saying Tinubu had recognized and given prominence to the Middle Belt.
