2027: My ambition is to uplift ordinary citizens, says ex-IGP Adamu

Former Inspector-General of Police Mohammed Abubakar Adamu said he is seeking to become Nasarawa State governor in 2027 to improve the lives of ordinary citizens, especially women, children and young people. The Alago people endorsed him as their preferred candidate at a rally in Doma organised by the Alago Support Group for IGP Adamu; Adamu is running under the Social Democratic Party (SDP). He promised to prioritise education, healthcare and security if elected. He also condemned alleged vote-buying and the collection of voter cards, urging residents to retrieve their cards and vote.
