2027: Niger Delta youths criticize Uzodinma aide over attacks on Wike

The Niger Delta Youth Movement (NDYM) urged Collins Opurozor, an aide to Governor Hope Uzodinma, to stop attacking Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike. The group criticized Opurozor for accusing Wike of trying to dominate South-East politics by supporting weak leaders, and said disputes over Uzodinma’s senatorial candidacy in Imo West should not fuel hostility toward Wike. In a statement signed by publicity secretary Jeffery Nwali, NDYM called Opurozor’s television comments provocative and urged him not to use media interviews to settle political scores.

Ogun 2027: Adebutu dismisses omission from INEC list

Oladipupo Adebutu, the PDP governorship candidate in Ogun State, called his omission from INEC’s list of candidates a temporary distraction and said it would not stop him from contesting in 2027.
