2027: Ondo State targets one million votes for Tinubu, Oke says

Chief Olusola Oke, an APC leader in Ondo State, said the state aimed to deliver well over one million votes for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election. Speaking in Akure at the inauguration of the APC’s presidential campaign committees, he pointed to federal road projects, including the Ore-Ondo, Akure-Benin and Akure-Ekiti roads, as evidence of Tinubu’s impact. Oke also said Nigeria’s economy was recovering and pledged to mobilise party members across Ondo’s 18 local government areas.

APC PCC Mobilizes More Than 10,000 Support Groups for Tinubu

The APC Presidential Campaign Council has launched an online portal to register or revalidate membership for more than 10,000 support groups mobilizing for Bola Tinubu’s reelection. Announced in Abuja on October 18 by Silas Agara, director of support-group mobilization, the portal will remain open from October 17 to 22, 2026. The exercise is intended to verify groups, map their geographic reach and assess their organizational capacity to coordinate the campaign nationwide. Agara cited Tinubu’s record, including fuel-subsidy removal, foreign-exchange rate unification, tax reforms, student loans, consumer credit and health initiatives.
