2027: PDP criticises Sanwo-Olu’s policies and seeks a new direction for Lagos

The Lagos State PDP, through acting chairman Kayode Ogunbiyi, condemned Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s policies and called for a new direction ahead of the 2027 elections. Ogunbiyi criticised charges on solar installations in government estates, new levies on borehole drilling, and an additional N200,000 deposit reportedly required from emergency patients at LASUTH on top of an existing N230,000. He said the measures burden residents and undermine President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. Ogunbiyi urged voters to back PDP governorship candidate Adedeji Doherty in 2027.
