2027: Public anger alone cannot defeat Tinubu, Lagos APC warns

Seye Oladejo, spokesman for the APC in Lagos State, warned that anger over economic hardship and President Bola Tinubu’s policies would not by itself secure an opposition victory in the 2027 elections. He urged opposition parties to unite, resolve internal disputes, field credible candidates and offer a convincing governing agenda. Oladejo said the APC was strengthening its structures and alliances, citing campaign roles given to Governors Ademola Adeleke and Chukwuma Soludo, and minister Nyesom Wike, despite their different party affiliations.
