2027: Tinubu aide claims CityBoy Movement has support across party lines

O’tega Ogra, President Bola Tinubu’s senior aide for digital and new media and deputy director-general of the CityBoy Movement, says the group has the support of a majority of Nigerian youths ahead of the 2027 election. Speaking on Channels Television, he said its members come from across the political divide, including the PDP and parties associated with Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi. Ogra attributed the movement’s appeal to young people’s frustration with broken promises and the diversion of public funds, adding that access to information and fact-checking tools helps them scrutinise leaders.
