2027: Wike unveils over 80 campaign buses ahead of President Tinubu's visit

Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike unveiled more than 80 buses for Rainbow Coalition campaign teams in Rivers State, including those of the APC and PDP. His media aide, Lere Olayinka, said the vehicles drove through major streets in Port Harcourt before heading to the stadium on Friday to build awareness ahead of the presidential visit. Bola Tinubu is expected in Rivers State on Saturday for a rally ahead of the January 16, 2027 presidential election. The state’s ADC criticized the planned visit, citing the state of emergency Tinubu imposed during Rivers’ political crisis.
