2027: “You can’t silence my Affordable Life campaign with threats and insults,” Atiku tells Tinubu

Atiku Abubakar, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate, called President Bola Tinubu a “disaster” and said threats and insults would not silence his campaign. In a statement signed by campaign communications director Phrank Shaibu, Atiku defended his pledge to restore a transparent fuel-subsidy system linked to local refining. He said the policy would lower petrol and diesel prices and predicted voters would choose him in 2027. Atiku said his “Affordable Life” campaign would steer Nigeria back towards prosperity, growth and development.
