The Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) has expressed its support for the indefinite strike by resident doctors at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), urging the state government to urgently address doctors' welfare issues. In a statement, NARD highlighted prolonged delays in the payment of allowances and salary arrears, as well as irregularities in recent payments. The association warned that continued disputes could disrupt patient care and called for immediate action from Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
