Uba Sani faces 17 challengers in Kaduna governorship race

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State is set to face 17 other candidates in the 2027 governorship election, following the publication of candidates' particulars by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Sani, seeking re-election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), will run alongside Jerry Adams as his running mate. Other identified candidates include Isa Ashiru of the ADC, Bawa Usman of the PDP, and Muhammad Jamilu of the Accord Party.
