Kebbi governor reacts to death of Gwandu District Head

Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris, mourned the death of Gwandu District Head, Alhaji Muhammad Zayyanu Haruna Rasheed, who died on September 23, 2026, after a prolonged illness. Rasheed, aged 61, succeeded his father, Alhaji Muhammadu Bashar Mai-Wurno, and was buried in Gwandu after a funeral prayer at the Emir of Gwandu's palace in Birnin Kebbi. He is survived by his wife and four children.
