Russian Threat: This Security System France Will Deploy in Every Department

France is implementing a new security system in response to the Russian threat, requiring each prefect to establish a dedicated security and defense cell. These cells will include police, gendarmerie, and private actors, tasked with mapping vulnerable targets across the territory. Emmanuel Macron also requested a protection plan for critical infrastructures against drone attacks and cyber intrusions. This initiative follows a series of incidents reported in Europe since 2022.
