Destroyed desalination plant worsens Gaza’s drinking water crisis

Zuhair al-Nasr, a 74-year-old man, struggles to find drinking water for his family in Gaza City's Sheikh Radwan neighborhood. A newly built desalination plant had made access to water easier but was destroyed by Israeli bombings on August 24. Since then, he has had to rely on water from a well, making daily life even more challenging during the ongoing war.
