Justice: 51 people prosecuted for rape, pedophilia, and unnatural acts between March and July 2026

Public prosecutor Ibrahima Ndoye announced that 51 people are being prosecuted for serious offenses, including rape and pedophilia, between March and July 2026. Among them, 49 are in provisional detention. Fourteen have been referred to the Criminal Chamber and nineteen to the Correctional Chamber. The cases include the Pierre Robert and Ouzin Keïta files, highlighting the authorities' determination to address offenses involving minors.
