Yaoundé: A woman found dead, her husband placed in police custody

A woman was found dead in Ekounou, raising questions about the circumstances of her death. According to sources, she had suffered physical violence from her husband, Bekolo Nvé François, before returning to live with him. He contacted the victim's family to report that she had fallen in the toilet, but upon arriving at the hospital, they discovered she was already dead, with signs of violence on her face. Bekolo Nvé François has been placed in police custody by the gendarmes.
