Sanwo-Olu mourns Fasoranti, calls his death the end of an era

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu mourned Pa Reuben Fasoranti, the leader of the pan-Yoruba group Afenifere, who died on Tuesday at the age of 100. He called Fasoranti’s death the end of an era and a major loss for the Yoruba people and Nigeria. Sanwo-Olu praised his contributions to education and public service, as well as his advocacy for justice, equity, true federalism and good governance. He extended condolences to Fasoranti’s family, Afenifere members and the people of Ondo State, particularly the Akure Kingdom.
