Israeli minister threatens to revoke filmmakers’ citizenship over Gaza film

Israeli Culture Minister Miki Zohar announced plans to revoke the citizenship of filmmakers Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor after their documentary on the genocide in Gaza, titled NAZA, won the Special Jury Prize at the Venice Film Festival. Zohar called the film "vile" and accused the filmmakers of treason against the state. The documentary, which received a 25-minute standing ovation, features testimonies from Israeli military personnel about the use of AI systems for targeted killings in Gaza.
