Angry women from the Odidi community in Warri South-West Local Government Area protested at the Heritage Energy office, demanding immediate action on a crude oil spill that has persisted for six months. They highlighted the pollution of their rivers and farms, which has devastated their economic activities. Nancy Adowarebi, one of the protesters, stated that families are suffering and are afraid to use firewood due to the hydrocarbon fumes.
