ASUU calls off four-week strike at Benue varsity

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) at the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi, has called off its four-week strike that began on August 12, 2026. The decision was announced by chairperson Terseer Abari, following progress in negotiations. Union members are directed to resume their duties from September 11, 2026, while continuing to protect the interests and welfare of university workers.
