Implement CBA to stem medical brain drain, NMA tells FG

The Nigeria Medical Association (NMA) has urged the Federal Government to conclude and implement the outstanding Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) with health workers, warning that delays are fueling dissatisfaction and encouraging the migration of medical professionals. The NMA also called for the implementation of a 65-year retirement age for clinical health workers to retain experienced personnel. NMA President Prof. Afekhide Ernest Omoti emphasized that worsening insecurity poses a threat to healthcare delivery in the country.
