Correcting Africa’s map won’t bring economic prosperity - Moghalu

Kingsley Moghalu, former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, welcomed the UN resolution supporting the use of world maps that more accurately depict Africa's size. However, he warned that changing the map alone will not ensure economic prosperity for the continent. Moghalu emphasized that while the resolution is important for Africa's dignity and global image, it cannot replace the need for sustainable development based on productivity, good governance, and proper planning.
