2027: I’ll crash petrol price to N200 per litre — Adebayo

Prince Adewole Adebayo, the presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party, has pledged to reduce the prices of petrol, cooking gas, and aviation fuel to N200 per litre if elected in 2027. He stated that this reduction would be achieved within 12 months through the rehabilitation of Nigeria's existing refineries and the establishment of a conducive environment for modular refineries. Adebayo emphasized the need to develop domestic refining capacity instead of relying on imported refined petroleum products.
