Nearly two months after Mukena Mwepu Benie was arrested in Brazzaville in connection with the murder of sports entrepreneur Vally Amisi, Congolese Justice Minister Guillaume Ngefa said his extradition depends on judicial cooperation between the DRC and the Republic of the Congo. Ngefa said he had met his counterpart in Brazzaville to revive a judicial cooperation agreement that, according to him, had never been implemented since 1978.
