Jean-Marc Kabund believes that aides to Félix Tshisekedi may be giving him false information about the death of Manassé Lomboto, which occurred after an opposition demonstration on September 15. He fears the president may consequently be led to believe that no demonstrator was killed. Kabund warns that this account of events could compromise the proper course of the judicial proceedings. Kinshasa media are also covering the Senate’s adoption of the referendum law and the transfer of Prince Epenge to Makala prison.
