ADC accuses Mbah of anti-people policies in Enugu

Chief Ocho Obodoeze, the ADC’s 2027 Enugu governorship candidate, accused Governor Peter Mbah’s state administration of worsening residents’ hardship through policies he called “anti-people” and “draconian.” He cited the failure to deliver the promised piped water within 180 days and demolitions at Old Park, Gariki and Ogige Market that he said displaced thousands of residents and traders without adequate compensation. Obodoeze also criticized multiple taxes, alleged favoritism toward non-indigenes in appointments and contracts, and low teacher pay. He said he would investigate government contracts and pursue recovery of outstanding funds if elected in 2027.
