Flash flood: emergency agencies launch rescue operation in Kaduna

Emergency response agencies in Kaduna have initiated evacuation, search, and rescue operations following a flash flood that occurred on Sunday evening. The incident affected areas such as Asikolaye and the Federal Polytechnic, Tudun Wada. Halima Suleiman, Head of NEMA Operations Office, Kaduna, reported that floodwaters had receded, but residual water remained in some areas, with reports of drownings still being verified.
