Breaking: Influencer Keylor placed in pretrial detention

Influencer Papa Saliou Ciss, known online as “Keylor,” was placed in pretrial detention on Friday, October 23, after appearing before the Dakar court. A group of shopkeepers filed a complaint against him, accusing him in particular of filming people in the streets of Dakar. Keylor, described as a nationalist close to MP Papa Tahirou Sarr, had said the previous day that he was going to the Urban Security Department for a confrontation. His trial is scheduled for next Wednesday.
