Nourah Ba investigation: Ibrahima Ndiaye admits helping obtain a birth certificate

Ibrahima Ndiaye, a municipal councillor in Niomré, admitted helping Nourah Ba obtain a birth certificate for 20,000 CFA francs amid an investigation into the authenticity of her Senegalese identity documents. He initially denied knowing her, but changed his account after an examination of his phone revealed an attempt to contact her on WhatsApp before his questioning. Ndiaye said he passed copies of Nourah’s parents’ identity cards to a civil registry official in Nguidilé and later obtained an extract through mobile court hearings, with two witnesses. The document, issued in the name of Mariam Ba, also known as Nourah, was reportedly sent to Dakar and received by one of her brothers.
