Two dead and residents displaced after FARDC-Wazalendo clashes in Nyunzu

Clashes broke out on Tuesday, October 13, in Lengwe, more than 80 km from Nyunzu centre, between FARDC soldiers and Wazalendo fighters. Local sources reported that two militiamen were killed and another wounded. Nearly all residents fled to nearby villages, including Mbulula, Kabeya Mayi and Tshulumba, as civil society called for urgent intervention.
