Cameroon — “One punch and I’ll knock you out”: the video setting Douala alight

A video shared on Cameroonian social media on October 27, 2026, shows a gendarmerie captain and a police officer arguing at Douala International Airport. Accounts accompanying the footage say the dispute began when the captain asked the officer to move his vehicle. The verbal exchange escalated, with one challenging the other and the other threatening to knock him out with a single punch. The incident renews questions about recurring tensions between officers from the two forces.
