Da Cruz welcomes backing from Kaizer Chiefs' management

After Kaizer Chiefs beat TS Galaxy 3-0 in the Carling Knockout round of 16, coach Fernando Da Cruz thanked sporting director Kaizer Motaung Jr. and the board for their support. He said he meets with Motaung every three or four months to review the team and discuss ways to improve, regardless of results. Da Cruz attributed the team’s difficult season to several draws and contact injuries to key players. The win keeps Chiefs’ hopes of silverware alive ahead of Saturday’s Soweto derby against Orlando Pirates.
