Domestic Crude Supply to Nigerian Refineries Falls 6.3% to 15.97 Million Barrels — NMDPRA

Nigerian refineries received 15.97 million barrels of domestic crude in September 2026, down 6.3% from August, according to the NMDPRA. Average daily petrol supply also fell 23.4% to 38.7 million litres as domestic deliveries and imports declined, in part because approved import permit volumes were being exhausted. From January to September, refineries received 156.51 million barrels, with domestic crude making up 80.4% of the total. Dangote Refinery recorded 105.98% utilisation in September, drawing on inventory to process about 689,000 barrels per day.
