Don't Blame Tinubu: Even Saudi Arabia Increased Fuel Prices, Yari Tells Nigerians

Abdulaziz Yari, director-general of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, defended Nigeria’s recent fuel price increase at an APC rally in Calabar, Cross River State. He said Saudi Arabia had also raised fuel prices and attributed the increases to rising crude oil prices on international markets. Yari argued that fuel prices are determined by the global market, not by the Nigerian government alone. He urged Nigerians to be patient and support the government, saying the removal of fuel subsidies would bring long-term benefits.
